Day 1  Istanbul - Arrival
Arrival transfer. Depending on your arrival time you may consider an orientation walk with one of our staff. Welcome briefing. Rest of the day free at leisure.


Day 2  Istanbul
Enjoy a full day tour of the Sultanahmet district, the heart of old Istanbul. Firstly we visit the magnificent Hagia Sofia, Hippodrome & the stadium of ancient Byzantium, where an Egyptian obelisk & a bronze sculpture of three entwined serpents from Delphi still survive. We then continue on to the Blue Mosque which owes its name to the exquisite tiles adorning its interior & the world famous Grand Bazaar. After lunch we visit the amazing Topkapi Palace, which from the 15th to the 19th Century was the principle residence of the Ottoman Sultans. Stay overnight in Istanbul.


Day 3  Istanbul
Departing in the morning from the hotel to firstly take a brief visit to the Spice Bazaar which is the second largest covered bazaar in Istanbul & then embark on a cruise along the Bosphorus. This legendary strait separates Europe & Asia. We cruise past wooden seafront mansions, picturesque villages & modern pleasure palaces. After lunch we enjoy a visit to Camlica Hill, the highest point in Istanbul, commanding a panoramic view of the city. We will also take a short drive to the 19th Century summer palace of the Sultans in the Bosphorus village of Beylerbeyi. After the tour we will transfer you back to your hotel.


Day 4  Istanbul to Antalya
Depending on flight availability you may choose to spend the balance of your day in Istanbul or Antalya. Transfer to Istanbul Airport for Antalya flight & transfer to hotel in historic Kaleici district upon arrival.


Day 5  Antalya
We start sightseeing by visiting Perge 18 km east from Antalya, with its colonnaded streets, agora, bath, stadium & theatre Perge was an important city of ancient Pamphylia. We continue to Aspendos which is one the best preserved theatres of the antique world seating 15,000. The galleries, stage decorations & the acoustics all reflect the success of the architect. Lunch served at a local restaurant. Side is one of the best known classical sites in Turkey. The magnificent theatre of the ancient city, built on colonnaded arches, the creamy white columns of the Apollo Temple make a striking contrast against the blue sea. The extensive Roman bath, now a museum, houses one of Turkey's finest archaeological collections.


Day 6  Antalya
Free day at leisure.


Day 7  Antalya - Kas

Check out from hotel & depart Antalya for  Demre which is the ancient city of Myra & it is especially known for St. Nicholas who was the Bishop of this Mediterranean city during the 4th century & died here in 325. Kekova is the island paradise, 'Home of the sun'. It is also the name for the whole area of picturesque islands, numerous bays & ancient cities. These bays provide natural harbours in all seasons & nature is united with history creating a harmony rarely seen. We arrive at Kas an unspoiled fishing village with charm, part of which comes from its setting at the foot of a wall of mountains facing the sparkling Mediterranean.


Day 8  Kas - Fethiye
Free day at leisure for self exploring the surroundings of Kas & nearby towns. Afternoon coach to Fethiye, transfer to hotel upon arrival.


Day 9  Fethiye
After breakfast transfer to the boat. A lazy day boat cruise leaving from Oludeniz Beach. Board the boat for a day you wont forget. Swim in the Blue Cave before stepping ashore at Butterfly Valley. For the energetic, a climb up to the Waterfall where you might see a rare Tiger Butterfly is not be missed. Lunch is served on the boat before we stop at St Nicholas Island where you can climb amongst ruins to the top of the Island for magnificent views. Swim at 'Cold Spring Bay' where fresh water leaks into the sea & in the evening sail back to Oludeniz beach & transfer to the hotel.


Day 10  Fethiye - Dalyan
Departing from the hotel & a journey of about 1 hr through spectacular mountain & coastal scenery brings us to the banks of the lake Dalyan. Here, small covered boats take us down the meandering Dalyan river delta, twisting & turning through thick vegetation which is overlooked by the 4th century BC Rock Cut Tombs, sculpted hundreds of feet up into the sumptuous mud baths. After the lunch at a riverside restaurant, we spend the afternoon on the golden sands of Iztuzu Beach, famous for its protected breeding ground of loggerhead turtles. Evening return back to Fethiye & transfer to the hotel.


Day 11  Fethiye - Dalaman - Istanbul
Depending on the flight schedule you may spend the balance of your day in Fethiye or Istanbul. Transfer to Dalaman Airport for Istanbul flight, transfer to hotel upon arrival.


Day 12  Istanbul
After breakfast check out & transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport for your homebound flight. Additional night(s) can be added in Istanbul.
